Tottenham open for transfer business

 Tottenham open for transfer business

The summer transfer window is open, we already have a keeper who couldn't join the club quick enough and feels everything is World Class here, a World Cup finalist and Serie A winner still at the top of his game, plus, it would appear, the imminent return of Christian Eriksen.

What do we have on the transfer agenda today then?

Spurs Seek Striker

Tottenham Hotspur are intensifying efforts to sign 24-year-old (25 in July) VfB Stuttgart and Austria striker Sasa Kalajdzic say the
Stuttgart Nachrichten.

Bayern Munich, Manchester United, Borussia Dortmund and West Ham have scouted the 14 cap (4 goals) international this season.

He only started 13 games, 2 substitute appearances, due to a shoulder injury but scored 6 goals and had 2 assists, all in the league campaign.

Marcus Rashford is a talented English international that has lost his way and taken his eye off his role, playing football.

He needs someone to refocus him, can Conte do that?

If he feels he can I'd welcome him to replace Steven Bergwijn, a definite upgrade and homegrown too.

However our approach was turned down with the player suggesting he wants to remain at United.

Lucas Moura has said he will almost definitely be at Tottenham next season.

The Brazilian has a contract until 2024 and he says the club want him to stay next season, which he is happy to do with UEFA Champions League football back.

Spurs Seek Centre-Back

Tottenham have started talks over Gleison Bremer of Torino, whom Inter couldn't agree a deal for. Inter wanted to pay €25m for plus a player, however Torino wanted €35m cash.

Dutch international right-back Denzil Dumfries might now be the player Inter sell to raise money, however, it has been suggested that we might offer Davinson Sánchez plus £26m for Bastoni.

Bremer was the centre-back of the season in Italy, just as Romero was last season and he is one of several centre-backs on our list.

Pau Torres is another and there are reports we are trying to get him included in a deal for Giovanni Lo Celso, with the Spanish not willing to pay the fee Spurs are asking, 30m.

Gio cost an original £14.4m loan fee + £28.8m transfer fee + bonuses, most of which will not have been met.

He is 3 years into a 6-year contract so add the fees together (£423.2m) and divide by 6 = £7.2m per year.

Times that by the three years remaining and we need to recoup £21.6m plus any golden handshake and loyalty bonus.

That all rather ties in with the 30m we will sell him for, not the hit some people think.

Spurs have been watching 21-year-old (22 next March) Monaco centre-back and French U-21 (15 caps) captain Benoît Badiashile.

The left-footed defender is under contract until 2024.

Joe Rodon is even more determined to get regular game time ahead of going to the Qatar World Cup in November so I can't see a deal for him not getting completed.

Spurs Seek Midfielder

The next player through the door is possibly going to be Christian Eriksen, just depends which negotiations finish first. Eriksen has excellent relations within the club, as does his agent, so everything is proceeding nicely it seems.

I do feel sorry for Brentford who were the only club willing to give him a chance so from that standpoint it would have been nice to see him play another season there.

I hope that he returns to Brentford one day for a spell to say thank-you for resurrecting my career.

Spurs Seek Defender

Tottenham are interested in 19-year-old (20 in November) Udinese left-back Destiny Udogie.

Udogie he has been on loan at from fellow Serie A side Hellas Verona and Udinese have an obligation to purchase him for €4 million, which now looks an absolute snip.

The Italian U-21 international (4 caps) participated in 13% of his sides goals scored while he was on the pitch (5 goals, 3 assists, 35 games).

Udogie, who is also being followed by Inter Milan and Juventus, is 80% left-footed and is reported as being one of the revelations of the Italian season, playing as a wing-back.

Under both Luca Gotti and previous head coach Gabriele Cioffi, Udogie has operated as a left wing-back in the 3-5-2 formation.

The young Nigerian-Italian's role with the Zebrette has allowed him to utilize his pace as well as make the same runs towards the back post that we see Ryan Sessegnon make.

His form improved significantly in the final third of the campaign, whence he scored 4 of his goals and made an assist.

Dual qualified, the exciting prospect wants to play for Italy at Euro 2024, as he told the Italian Football Podcast in April.

“I was born in Italy so I feel more Italian.

“I grew up playing with all the Italy youth teams so I want to continue playing with Italy, I hope to reach the first and win as many things as possible.

“Yes, it is an ambition to play at Euro 2024 for Italy. I have to give my best every game to show Roberto Mancini my quality. It is a big ambition that I hope to reach.”

Spurs Seek Staff

GM Paratici has drafted new Indian body massage specialist, Aditya Sankaran for Tottenham Hotspur First-Team ventures.

Mr.Sankaran is high-profile specialist in this area and will begin when pre season commends at Hotspur Way.
